CSE Drama Fest 2026
🎭 When Coders Take the Stage — CSE Drama Fest 2026
“All the world’s a stage, and all the men and women merely players.” — Shakespeare
And on February 7, 2026, the CSE Department of the University of Moratuwa proved just that.
For one unforgettable day, the relentless hum of keyboards fell silent. The terminal windows closed. And in their place — spotlights, scripts, and stories that moved the soul. 🌟
✨ A Break Worth Every Moment
University life in CSE is no easy feat. Late-night debugging sessions, back-to-back deadlines, and the constant pressure to perform — it takes a toll. The CSE Drama Fest was our collective exhale. A chance to laugh, cry, cheer, and simply be — together.
From the moment the curtains rose, the audience was transported into a world of Shakespearean drama, vibrant performances, and raw, unfiltered talent that had nothing to do with code — and everything to do with heart.
🎬 Behind the Scenes
What the audience witnessed on stage was just the tip of the iceberg. Behind every scene lay countless nights of rehearsals, line memorizations at 2 AM, costume fittings between lectures, and the quiet determination of batchmates pushing each other to shine.
The Drama Fest wasn’t just a performance — it was a testament to what CSE23 can achieve when they channel their passion beyond the screen.
🌟 More Than an Event
The laughter that echoed through the hall, the applause that wouldn’t die down, the friendships deepened backstage — these are the memories that will outlast any assignment or exam result.
To every performer who bared their soul on stage, every crew member who worked tirelessly in the shadows, and every audience member who showed up with love — thank you. You made this truly special. ❤️
Here’s to the stories we tell, the stages we claim, and the memories we carry forward. 🎭
